No clues after 15 years

Sometimes I get lucky one month and go a week straight without migraines.  YES!

Sometimes I get unlucky and go a month with barely 2 good days in a row. Boo.

No pattern. No noticeable triggers.  No rhyme or reason.

So that’s where I’m at right now: it seems as though the migraines are completely out of my control.

…Not sure if that’s a good or bad thing.

I couldn’t figure out what was triggering mine either until recently. With the diet changes, I’m having fewer migraines fewer triggers. So, when I do have one, it is easier to look back over 48 hours to see what was going on. For instance, I can now see that storms that involve a significant change in temperature are triggers. While the storms are out of my control, the diet isn’t, and my ability to modify my commitments when a storm is coming isn’t.

  2. We are a pair, I hope your migraines are treating you better.
I have tried ad tried to figure out my triggers.
I’ve kept detailed diaries, changed my diet, changed some meds that might cause headaches, everything you can imagine. Still have no idea.
    Maybe some day.

    Always have hope.

    1. Hi Wendy!

Yes, I always hold on to hope. You never know what will work or what will be discovered in the future. My life is such an up and down roller coaster, I honestly have no idea what triggers the pain. I love your blog. We have so much in common! *hugs*
